I have just tried to upload a photo 147 kb.JPEG on the Sand Lizard forum and the photo will not load like usual, just a small box appears, any ideas Chris or anyone else. I see that the time on postings is also wrong, I though that this had been corrected.

Hi David

I am not 100% sure what has caused the problem although the symptom is that the image has been recorded as a text file rather than a JPEG and thus not loaded into your images folder on the website.

One obvious problem which MIGHT have caused this is that your file name has two dots prior to the extension i.e. 2009-08-13_223418_Hatchling-L.a..jpg. This MIGHT cause the system to regard the file extension as ".jpg" or even a "a..jpg" rather than just "jpg". Would you please try renaming the file omitting all the superfluous dots ie 2009-08-13_223418_Hatchling-La.jpg and then uploading again?

This is, I am afraid, just a shot in the dark - but it does seem to be working fine for others at the moment.

All the best

Chris

Cheers Chris,
that worked, must remember not to put a . at the end of any photo titles in future.
